This year's WebCheck Security Cyber Summit, produced by WebCheck and Char Ignacio, was a significant success for all involved, including the Nexus IT team. Not only did we have a wonderful time at the event, learn lots of very useful, emerging information about the threat landscape; but we also made many high value connections at the conference that have led to significant new business opportunities.
In the past 36 months, out of all the dozens of events we have attended and sponsored, we received more new business opportunity from this Summit than any other in recent years.
Additionally, I had the pleasure to host a meet-and-greet with Congressman Chris Stewart, who was our gracious and distinguished guest. We were able to gather a meeting of masterminds of 20 local and national tech and cybersecurity founders and senior executives, who had the opportunity to share their current experiences, needs, and challenges we are facing in our industry with the Congressman. The Congressman, in return, shared his vision and his commitment to support, not only public sector cybersecurity initiatives and ecosystems, but private sector as well. We all left our meeting with the Congressman feeling inspired and hopeful for the future of support for our industry from such a distinguished individual.

As both a speaker and a sponsor of Webcheck Security’s Cybersecurity Summit, I was very impressed with the caliber of programming, attendees, speakers and sponsors. I was a speaker on the “Women in Cybersecurity” panel discussion and I was both humbled and proud to share the stage with such an accomplished group of women. Somehow this summit manages to strike just the right balance of being informative on topics in cybersecurity that are not often or deeply discussed even though they are tremendously important topics, it’s valuable for all involved and it’s also, somehow, fun! It’s usually pretty difficult to find all those things at a summit about cybersecurity and those are just a few reasons why I believe it is one of the most valuable events that my company participates in all year.

2022 - San Diego
Our third summit in the circuit and first to San Diego. We were so excited to break into the San Diego scene and met many wonderful new partners and friends.
